DETROIT, MI – Hollywood just can’t seem to get enough of Better Made products! Better Made has been asked to provide products for three new projects being filmed in and around the Metro Detroit Area, including:
“Gametime” with James Brolin and Danny Glover being filmed in Ferndale and The Palace of Auburn Hills. The products will be used in both scenes. Since the movie will be showing Detroit during the end, Better Made would be seen at the concession stands, being held by fans in the crowd, etc. “Gametime" explores the business of major college basketball, as revealed through the innocent eyes of the two top recruits in the country, best friends Malik and John. They are followed through a recruiting process full of enticements and onto their respective college teams led by results-focused coaches, meet their passionate, troubled, and hilarious teammates, and watch them fight their way to the pinnacle of the college game – The Final Four, a multi-billion dollar feeding frenzy for the agents, the media, the NCSA, and everyone associated with the game except the players. On the eve of the final game, Malik and John hatch a plan to even the score.
“Sparkle” with Whitney Houston and Jordin Sparks tells the story of Sparkle (Jordin Sparks), the youngest of three sisters and a music prodigy who struggles to become a star while facing issues that are tearing her family apart. She is from an affluent Detroit area, naive to the unexpected experiences her new life will bring as she and her two sisters blossom into a dynamic singing group during the 1960’s when Detroit was music’s mecca. Better Made is providing 1,000 individual size bags of Better Made chips for their cast/crew in exchange for a possible Sony Pictures movie credit.
“She’s In Hot Water” a new media series being filmed in Michigan using local actors, including some from the series Detroit 187, about a Michigan Governor who is forced to make tough decisions after she's elected to move the state into a brighter future, which is wrought with despair and political upheaval.
